This is a wonderful book. I really liked the heroine and how she chose to grow through her troubles and stand up for herself no matter what others thought. The hero was an excellent match for our heroine. I liked how he was trying to be noble and fight his attraction because she was under his protection. The action never really stopped and kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next. The secondary characters were fun as well and really added to the story. I particularly liked the hero's female coworker. She was a hoot and deserves a story of her own.This is an awesome read and well worth the price of admission. Gina Welbkrn is one of my favorite authors. She writes great stuff!

Malia is a rich girl who is never accepted. The brother is sent to jail. Then enter the marshall. This book has so many emotions flowing through it thst you have to read it to the end. I would recommend that book to everyone. A lot of suspense for sure. I was given a copy for an honest review.
Malia is a rich girl, although not considered a part of accepted 'society' because of her father's family. Marshal Frank is called upon to protect Malia due to her brother getting getting in trouble with the law and a hit being placed on her. Can both of them allow The Lord to help them through this ordeal? This is an intriguing story of old time mafia. I was gifted this book in exchange for my honest review. I recommend this book.

Having been taught to not trust law enforcers, when the Marshal Frank Grahame Louden shows up should she trust him? Is all this rekally happening, and is she really in danger? US Marshal Frank Grahame Louden is attracted to her. Yet his job is to protect her, and he is working to achieve the goals he has set for his career. She would just complicate matters. Can he keep her safe? Is it God's plan for them to overcome their past and be together? I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

US Marshal Frank Grahame Louden has not been this intrigued by a woman. Yet he knows his job is to protect her, not have feelings for her. He has goals set for his career and is working fast at achieving them, she would just complicate matters.
Will Frank keep Malia safe? Will they each be able to over come past and have a future together or is it just not in Gods plan.

Author Gina Welborn weaves an intriguing tale about peril, protection and passion in her novel, "The Marshal's Pursuit." The story revolves around U.S. Marshal Frank Louden and the beautiful Malia Vaccarelli whom he is assigned to protect. Little does he know that he may fall in love with Malia.
He's everything she desired in a man but Malia's criminal connections serve as obstacles in the way of their love for each other.
Meanwhile, they work hard to stay alive and out of danger after Malia's brother gets in trouble with the law. But a lot of good comes out of his trouble for it is because of the trouble that Malia and Frank meet, spend time together and start to fall in love. But the challenge is staying in love and out of trouble and the greatest obstacle is staying alive.
The author did her homework on investigations and criminal law because the dialogue and the scenes were believable and her storytelling was riveting.
I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes intrigue mixed with romance. It's a classic.

She loves her brother and is very close to him, although she is very naive concerning what he does to gain their wealth. Malia is a witness to the men that her brother was with when the murder took place, therefore her life is in danger. She has been taught that coppers, or the law can not be trusted. Marshal Frank Grahame Louden is the officer who is appointed to keep her safe. She is not sure whom to trust. Surely her life is not in any real danger. She is determined to stand by her brother, believing him innocent.
US Marshal Frank Grahame Louden is a man who has been hurt by his wife divorcing him after only six months of marriage. He has purposed to never love a woman again. His job is to protect Malia, not have feelings for her. He takes her to his grandparents secluded home in the country to keep her safe until her brother's trial. This is an interesting read watching their love and the fate of all concerned unfold.

I couldn't put this book down. It is written where you can feel every emotion the characters feel. I laughed and cried with these new friends of mine. Superb writing and plot. This book is an original, and I loved it!
